Kovalam is an internationally renowned tourist destination located near the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Famous for its beautiful beaches filled with white sand, this place is also a favourite place for world tourists. Three beautiful crescent-shaped beaches are located here. The blue water and calm sea provide an opportunity for tourists to bathe safely and comfortably. The rocks located near the beach make the beach a protected and beautiful place. Lighthouse Beach is one of the main attractions of Kovalam. Many tourist centres are located near Kovalam.

  • Kerala Arts & Craft Village Visit

    A craft village is a new concept. Craftsmen make pottery, glassware, textiles, etc. Fine artists, including sculptors and painters, create their finest works of art, sculptures, paintings, etc. The aim is to create a platform and an opportunity for artisans to live in one place, make products, and sell the products they make at a fair price. This enables their livelihood and survival. This means that tourism and introduction to handicrafts take place at the same time and in one place.

    Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. Hawah beach, light house beach, Kovalam beach. Cherished for its three crescent shaped beaches and tranquil waters, perfect for sea bathing. The rocky headland here creates a serene bay, making it an enchanting spot for tourists. Kovalam beach also famous for its serene and picturesque surroundings, including coconut trees, prestine blue waters and golden sands. Visit to Kovalam beaches followed by some water sports activities. Then overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Pazhavangadi Ganapathy temple

    Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple is a famous Hindu temple known for its idols, architecture and cultural significance: Idols. The temple houses several idols, including a unique Ganesha idol made of gold and precious stones, and another Ganesha idol made of pure granite architecture. The temple is a blend of Dravidian and Dakshina architecture. The walls and pillars of the temple are notable for their carvings.
    A popular offering at the temple is to break a coconut at a specific spot. It is believed that this helps devotees overcome obstacles and fulfil their wishes. Devotees pray at this temple before journeys and when starting any endeavour in life and break a coconut as an offering as a sign of faith to remove obstacles.

  • Sree padmanabha swami temple

    This historical temple is a blend of Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. The principle diety of the temple is Lord Vishnu. The idol is in the Ananthashayanam posture on his serpant Adisheshan. The Padmanabhaswamy temple in kerala is considered the richest temple in the world. It is known for its massive hidden vaults containing gold, jewels and valuable art facts. The idol of the presiding diety is noted for its composition which has 12008 Salagramam’s which were brought from Nepal. This temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams. The temple is situated facing east. Padmatheerthakulam is located to the north-east. The shrine is rectangular in shape. The 18-foot-tall Bhagavad idol made of 12008 Salagramas is enshrined. The temple Gopura is built on the Thanjavur model with a height of about 100 feet and 7 floors. The biggest feature of the temple is the Shivalipura and the Ottakal Mandapam, which are 400 feet long and 200 feet wide and are made of 365 single-stone pillars.

  • Kuthiramalika (Monday Closed)

    Kuthiramalika “Mansion of horses” is a Travancore kingdom palace built by Swathy Thirunal Rama Varma on the south eastern side of padmanabha Swamy temple. “Mansion of horses” and it has been named so because of the 122 horses that adorn the many pillars that support the southern roof of this magestic structure. Built in the 1840’s, Kuthiramalika is an example of traditional kerala architecture.

  • Sree Chitra Art Gallery

    Sree Chitra art gallery is located in the Napier museum compound, features a unique collection of traditional and contemporary paintings. There are approximately 1100 paintings at the gallery including many timeless masterpieces. The gallery also houses various miniatures including 400-year-old. Tanjore miniature paintings as well as manuscripts of archival importance. This treasure trove of works of art, some of which cost millions, is a testament to the rich, artistic heritage of kerala. Raja Ravi Varma art gallery among the gallery's most prized possessions are the exquisite works of Raja Ravi Varma, an artist par excellence.

  • Zoo (Monday Closed)

    One of the oldest zoos of the India spread over 30 acres of land and located in the temple city Thiruvananthapuram. Considered to be the oldest of its kind in Asia. Currently, the zoo is home to 1025 different animals. From 98 species. Recently the Srilankan Dehiwala zoo gifted anaconda snakes which are now one of the biggest highlights of the zoological park. Apart from the fauna there are more than 100 different plant species in the park.

Alappuzha is known as the “Venice of the East”. Backwaters are one of the main landmarks on the Kerala tourism map. Alappuzha and Kumarakom, which have gained international fame, are the gateways to Kerala backwater tourism. Alappuzha is famous for its network of canals, lush paddy fields, coconut trees, beautiful backwaters and houseboats for overnight stays. It is also a major centre for the spice trade. The canals that have been laid throughout the city for transportation are very interesting. Famous for its waterways and backwaters, this place has become a major tourist destination in Kerala today. It is the main centre for the Nehru Trophy boat racing competition held during the days of Onam, the main festival of Kerala. Alappuzha is also famous for its coir industry. The Kuttanad paddy fields, the rice field of Kerala, are located here. Alappuzha is a land area formed by backwaters, rivers, and canals, and is filled with sand. Marine products, tourism, and the coir industry are the economic sources of income. The overnight stay of tourists in houseboats on the backwaters and travel to the backwaters make up the tourism sector of Alappuzha. It has become world famous. In addition, many tourist attractions are located in the district.

  • HOUSE BOAT

    A houseboat trip and overnight stay along the backwaters is something that no traveller visiting Kerala (God's Own Country) can avoid. One of the most captivating experiences on a houseboat cruise is watching the sunset over the backwaters. Explore the natural beauty of Kerala, the paddy fields, narrow canals, coir, village’s etc. Houseboat travel and overnight stays along the backwaters provide an unforgettable experience to tourists. A houseboat cruise includes delicious meals prepared on the boat, featuring traditional Kerala cuisine. Delicious seafood, spicy curries and traditional Kerala Snacks are also available. Houseboats seen today are the modern form of the kettu vallam that were used to transport goods from one place to another through the backwaters. These include traditional kothumbu vallam, kettuvallam, shikara, houseboats, luxury houseboats, etc.

POLICIES

  • Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
  • A maximum of three adults are allowed in one room. The third occupant shall be provided a mattress / roll-away bed.
  • Double or twin bed type provided during check-in is at the final discretion of hotel.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
  • Itinerary cannot be changed.
  • Transportation is guaranteed as per itinerary and cannot be changed.
  • Day and night houseboat stay packages have fixed menus. Welcome drink, traditional Kerala style veg and non-veg lunch, evening tea and snacks, veg and non-veg dinner, veg breakfast and mineral water during meals are available.
  • Guests who require special dishes and soft drinks at houseboat should inform them in advance and pay extra for the same.
  • House boat Check-in time is from 11:30 AM to 09:00 AM the next day.
  • In houseboat children below 5 years of age can stay in an extra bed free of charge on request.
  • A/C is not operational during the day in houseboats. The electricity required for the houseboats is provided from the banks of the backwaters where the boat spends the night. The opera ting hours of A/C are from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, the itinerary of this tour may change, however, Vibe Yathra will make every effort to ensure that all the services and attractions mentioned are available without any change. For example; strikes, fairs, festivals, weather changes, traffic problems, restrictions at the place of visit, entry refusals, etc.
  • Vibe Yathra reserves the right to change the itinerary. Vibe Yathra will try its best to adopt suitable alternative routes, but if due to any circumstances the said alternative route fails, Vibe Yathra will not be liable for any financial or project losses incurred due to this.

  • Check-in time on a house boat is 12:00 pm and check-out time is next day 9:00 am (full day package)
